A Meditation Method for the Purification of Mind

The Six Rs is an effective meditation method, that when practiced in earnest, develops mental clarity, agility and calm. These factors allow for the direct observance of how mind’s attention moves from one object to another in the present moment. The dispassionate observance of mind and body results in personal insight knowledge and deep equanimity at the most profound level. It is easy to learn, joyful to practice, and results in immediate positive effects that penetrate into all aspects of life.

About the Six Rs

The Six Rs evolved as a learning tool in the practice of Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation as taught by Bhante Vimalaramsi, and American born Buddhist monk. They function as six connected and actionable steps to more easily practice Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation.
